Float Switches
Detects and records level of liquid in a tank. Acting as a mechanical switch by floating on the surface of the liquid, rising and falling with liquid level. Can be used in conjunction with Control Pump Devices, Alarms and Valves in various Industrial and Commercial Applications.
Radar
Transmits microwaves through antenna system to radar senser, this is then received again by the antenna to generate measurement. The measured time from emission to reception corresponds to the level in the tank.
Ultrasonic
Sends ultrasonic pulses through a senor, the surface of the media reflects the signal back to the sensor and a measurement is calculated. With the known tank specifications level can be calculated.
Capacitance Sensors
Detects solid or liquid targets without physical contact by emitting an electrical field from the sensor. Targets that disrupt the electrical field can be detected.
Level Transmitters and Transducers
Measures level of tank or vessel continuously over the range of the system, not at a single data point. They produce an output signal that directly relates to the level measured.
